Abstract
Madeleina Kay's abstract paintings are most distinguishable by their vivid, overwhelming blocks of colour. The works are a comment on The tendancy to compartmentalise and internalise emotional experiences in an attemptt tocontrol rather than accept our feelings. The bold colours and shapes exude an energy that reflects the intensity of the emotions we are capable of experiencing.
